This seems to be a course for young people. Will it suit a man about to turn 80, who has had a lifelong dream to be a writer, believes in himself, has done a few courses, has published a few items but had many rejections?

What is my Gravatar that you want to look up? Can’t find it in my dictionary or thesaurus.

Hi Roger, Thanks for your enquiry. The Power of Writing Course would absolutely be suitable for an eighty year old. We have had an eighty year old also with writing experience doing it. I think she was concerned that it would be too basic – after all we do call it an introductory course – but she loved it. The course will definitely give you skills and help you write more fluently and if you just need some feedback on your writing, a little boost or a bit of motivation the I think it will be right for you. If on the other hand you are wanting to write seriously I wonder if our ten module Creative Writing Course wouldn’t be better. It takes you through the writing process in a logical way and teaches you all the skills you need to write a publishable book.

In addition you can also send in up to 2000 words of your own writing with each assignment for feedback from Richard and Jo-Anne. So you could be working on a writing project at the same time and use the course to help you with that. You can read more about it here..

We’d love to have you on one of the courses.

      Kind regards
      Trish
