To get answers to these questions Allaboutwriting is running a Publishing Workshop in Johannesburg on Wednesday 7 December 2011.
The workshop will be run by an experienced workshop facilitator and speaker. Dave Chislett is the author of several books and numerous short-stories. He comes with a focused understanding of the business of writing – including publishing.

I love your message. I am putting on a similar workshop in the U.S. There are lots of classes on how to write a book, but there is a dearth of information on what to do with the manuscript once it’s finished. Coming from a major publishing house, I think it’s vitally important for writers to know what they are getting into.
