This is an intensive two-day course designed to give participants a kick in their literary rumps. Addressing a wide range of skills necessary for any ambitious writing project, the Weekend Writers’ Circle Course includes modules on everything from finding your voice to developing compelling characters; from choosing the most appropriate point of view, to creating tension and suspense. Punctuated by exercises, the course inspires and motivates participants to get moving on that too-long-delayed writing project. It takes place in Parkview, Johannesburg, on a Saturday and Sunday and is preceded by a getting-to-know you cocktail session on the Friday before the course begins.
