Your Creative Writing Instructors
Jo-Anne Richards is an internationally published novelist (The Innocence of Roast Chicken, My Brother’s Book, Sad at the edges, Touching the Lighthouse and The Imagined Child) with a Ph.D. in Creative Writing from Wits University. She taught writing skills in the Wits Journalism Department for fifteen years and has supervised Creative Writing Masters students at both Wits and UCT.
Richard Beynon, writer of the popular Monday Writing Motivation series is an award-winning story consultant and screenwriter with decades of experience in South African television. His credits include many of the country’s most popular dramas and soaps including Isidingo, Scandal, Rhythm City and Isibaya.
