Our flagship Creative Writing Course contains everything we wish we’d known when we were starting out as writers – and you can start in May.
What will you learn from us?
In ten modules, we’ll give you the benefit of our decades of writing and mentoring experience – where we succeeded and where we failed – along with advice from the best the world has to offer.
Every module will provide you with solutions to the problems you face every day you sit down to write.
Who should do the course?
We designed the course both for beginners and for those writers who have enough experience to understand how much they still have to learn. This is the course for writers who would like to develop their craft and become more than just an average writer.
Will I become a better writer?
We can prove it works. In the fifteen years since we first offered it, over 40 books have been published by past participants.
Available live in real time
You’ll learn in real-time on Monday and Thursday evenings for five weeks.
You’ll receive comprehensive notes for each module and access to a recording of each session, should you miss a class or to refer to in the future. We keep the numbers very small so that each person receives personal feedback in every class.
Dates and times
The next virtual Creative Writing Course will start on Thursday 5 May and will run in real-time every Monday and Thursday evening for five weeks, finishing on Monday 6 June. The course runs from 17h00 to 20h00/20h30 (UK time) / 18h00 to 21h00/21h30 (South African time)
