Last chance to sign up for our inspiring Venice retreat
This is your last chance to sign up for our 2022 Venice retreat. Speak now, or forever hold thy FOMO.
We have only two rooms left in both weeks of the retreat. The rooms are good for sharing, so come with a friend or a partner – writing or non-writing.
As usual, we are running the retreat over two weeks. You are welcome to sign up for one week or two – from 11 to 18 October and/or 19 to 26 October.
This year we added a further week in the countryside on the Istrian peninsula of Croatia. But that retreat is now full. If you hoped to join us for that, you’ll have another chance next year.
Each morning starts with a group discussion/reading session, after which your time is your own. Every day, you can book one-on-one time with either Richard or me, or our resident non-fiction and travel writing expert Fred de Vries. This is your time to talk about your project. We can offer suggestions and feedback, or help you develop a new idea, whatever you need.
Here’s a short video, which gives you an idea of our new Venetian venue:
Please click here for full information, and click here for the schedule of costs. We have tried to be as conservative as we can with costs and I’m sure you’ll agree that, for what is offered, Venice is excellent value.
We offer two meals a day: breakfast and either a slap-up dinner or a help-yourself antipasti lunch.
Ca’ della Corte in Venice is a 16th century Venetian palazzo which has retained the essential flavour of Venice, but has been renovated by its passionate owner, Caterina Pensa. Every air-conditioned bedroom either looks out on its own courtyard, or offers a peek into the neighbourhood.
It is an easy eight-minute walk from the station, five minutes from Frari and its glorious Titians, while a ten-minute stroll will take you either to Campo San Polo – familiar to all previous Venice retreaters – or the even more vibrant Campo Santa Margarita.
But most of all, Ca’ della Corte offers unparalleled opportunities to the writer seeking a serene and inspiring environment.
Please come back to Trish if you have any more questions or would like to book: trish@allaboutwritingcourses.com. Book soon because we expect those last places to be snapped up.
